Your green roof can also use a little extra nutrition every now and then. That is why this 100% organic fertiliser has been specially developed for sedum and green roofs. The Myco-Sedum fertiliser is fully tailored to the needs of your green roof. Green roofs are not only gaining more interest for their usefulness, but are also tremendously fun. So to keep them beautiful and healthy, you also use the right fertiliser. The fertiliser has a fairly smooth action which makes it suitable not only for maintenance, but also for enrichment when you build it!

Why choose Myco-Sedum?

This fertiliser is not your everyday lawn fertiliser. Its balanced NPK 6-2-6 formula is specifically formulated for sedum roofs. In addition, this fertiliser enriches the soil with sulphur and beneficial micro-organisms to keep your roof healthy and strong. The formulation contains sulphur because it plays an important role in protein production and strong growth. This is important because roofs are not always easily accessible and you cannot maintain them every other day. After an application, your roof will look nice and clean again for a long time within six weeks. Besides sulphur, mycorrhizal fungi have also been added. These enter into symbiosis with the roots and make it easier for them to absorb moisture and nutrients. The beneficial soil bacteria help convert dead organic matter into new nutrients. Together, they help keep your green roof beautifully green and increase stress tolerance. This makes your plants more resistant to disease or damage in the long run, keeping your green roof strong and healthy even under the toughest conditions!

How do I apply Myco-Sedum?

The application of Myco-Sedum varies slightly from one application to another. For planting and maintenance, about 70 grams per square metre can be incorporated into the soil between March and July. This amounts to about 7 kilograms per 100 m². Here, the granules can be sprinkled and lightly raked in if possible. When installing sedum plugs or in case of growth retardation, 140 grams per square metre is recommended. This amounts to about 14 kg per 100 m². It is advisable to apply fertiliser early in the morning or late in the evening to prevent burning. Watering is not necessary, but can kickstart the effect.
