BG11 Superplus is a high-yielding pasture mixture. It is therefore an excellent all-round pasture mixture for a productive pasture even on more difficult soils. The high-quality grass varieties ensure high yields. In addition, this is a flexible pasture grass that can easily be enriched with clovers for an even higher feed value.

For what purposes can I use the BG11 Superplus mixture?

The Barenbrug BG11 Superplus mixture is ideal for intensively grazed meadows. The composition is tuned to yield excellent yields during the grazing season. The appetising combination of diploid English ryegrass, Timothy grass, Kentucky bluegrass and meadow fescue is highly suitable for mowing and silage extraction in addition to grazing. The mixture has excellent adaptability. These species are therefore ideal on more difficult soils such as peat and clay soils. Especially on peaty and heavy clay soils, this mixture therefore comes into its own.

How do I sow the BG11 Superplus mixture?

When establishing a plot, it should be well dug up beforehand. After also removing weeds and levelling the soil again. The grass seed can be sown 1 to 2 centimetres deep between May and October. When sowing BG11 grass seed, use a sowing density of about 30 to 40 kilograms per hectare.

How do I maintain the BG11 Superplus mixture?

Meadows also require regular maintenance. When grazing, this is less intensive. Nevertheless, fertilising with a suitable NPK fertiliser is recommended. For forage harvesting, regular mowing is an excellent way to optimise forage value. Annual scarification provides excellent soil aeration and rejuvenates the soil, keeping it fertile.
