Barenbrug Dijken D2 is the dike mixture for mowing, composed according to the Dutch Grass Guide. These so-called mowing dykes are mowed short several times a year and receive little fertilisation. The grass seed mixture is not suitable for grazing. The sod-forming grasses form a strong mat that functions as a water repellent. Barenbrug Dykes D2 germinates quickly that prevents erosion of steep slopes.
